§ 16-25. Civil liability.

The police department shall not be under any obligation or duty to a permit holder or alarm company or any other person by reason of this article. The city specifically disclaims liability for any damages which may be caused by the failure of the police department to monitor and/or respond to an alarm notification, transmitted by any means, or for any damage as a result of any unreasonable delay in response to any such alarm notification.
