§ 16-36. Revocation of alarm permit.
(a)
The chief shall revoke an alarm permit if he determines that:
(1)
There is a false statement of a material matter in the application for a permit;
(2)
The permit holder has violated section 16-28, 16-29, 16-30, 16-31, 16-32, or 16-34;
(3)
The permit holder has failed to make timely payments of a service fee assessed under section 16-35.
Notwithstanding subsections (a)(1) through (3) of this section, the chief may not terminate police response to a permit holder because of excess false alarms if the false alarm fee as provided for in section 16-35 is paid in full.
(b)
A person commits an offense if he operates an alarm system during the period in which his alarm permit is revoked.
